FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
28.03.24
Firstly, I would like to send my best wishes to those families celebrating Easter or Eid during the holidays. We wish you all a lovely time celebrating with your family and friends and look forward to celebrating on our return.
Many thanks to the Flowery Friends team who organised our Easter Events. Our Easter Egg Bongo was well attended with everyone leaving with a chocolate treat. Our next event is our Eid Celebration which takes place on Wednesday 17th April. Following the success of last year’s event, we have expanded capacity to ensure more families can get involved. Our team has lots of things planned, including new inflatables, craft events, party games and of course lots of delicious food! There are a limited number of tickets available, these can be purchased online: https://flowery-field-ptfa.pembee.app
Following requests from parents we have managed to source private music lessons; these can take place either within the school day or after school. All lessons need to be booked and paid for through the following link: https://uktameside.speedadmin.dk/registration#/
Wishing you a lovely break with your family and friends

Gizmobots- Junkbot Building Workshop
Wednesday 3 April. 12-3pm
Location: Heigenbottom Room, Ashton Library
This one-of-a-kind workshop for children aged 7 and up, will see participants using waste electronic equipment to design and create one big junk-bot sculpture together! Mark Haig, founder and Director of Gizmobots, will lead everyone through the process of designing the sculpture, taking apart old electrical items such as hoovers, selecting and assembling parts, and building and embellishing the final piece.
Everyone is welcome to bring a bit of their own waste electrical and electronic equipment as well, just make sure it is mainly made of plastic please! We would also recommend coming for the full session, if possible, so you can enjoy the
whole creative process!
