Attendance
At Flowery Field, attendance is monitored closely throughout school. Regular attendance all the way through their school life, helps ensure that your child can reach their full potential.
If for any reason, your child is going to be absent, please ring school on each day of absence to inform us of the reason and when your child is likely to return to school. This will avoid unnecessary calls or visits from the our pastoral team.
If you have any concerns about your child’s attendance, please speak with Ms Jeffers or Ms Radford, our Learning Mentors who support with attendance across school.
Holidays in term time
School cannot authorise any holidays in term time. Our Multi Academy Trust has directed us in this tightening of the rules to further promote good school attendance in line with the challenge from OFSTED that all schools face. All holidays taken during school time will be recorded as unauthorised leave and may result in parents facing a fine from Tameside M.B.C.
