What a lovey end to the week!
Yesterday we welcomed visitors from other schools within the Trust. They were extremely impressed with the children’s learning behaviours and the calm, purposeful learning taking place across school. Our visitors looked at the teaching of Maths across school, focusing on ensuring consistency throughout school. Our children spoke confidently about the way Maths is taught and were keen to share their learning. It was great to see our younger people verbalising their learning through their work on pattern and size, whilst our older pupils tackled more formal written methods. On Monday, we welcomed Christine from Sandwich Angels. She has asked me to pass on her thanks for your generous donations. She is supporting many families within our community and wanted to let you know that she is able to support anyone who may be struggling over the coming months, We are aware that several of our families volunteer for Sandwich Angels, sorting and delivering food to those in need. Please contact Christine on 0771 397 3640 if you are able to help.
Our Flowery Friends team are really looking forward to our Spooky Disco that takes place on Wednesday 19th October. This is a community event that provides an opportunity for families to spend time getting to know each other. We know the children love dressing up and can't wait to see their costumes. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Sales will take place before and after school on Monday 10th October. If you are able to volunteer on the night please speak to someone on the drop off.
Finally,we have been asked to advise parents that Enquire Learning Trust are currently consulting on our Admissions Policy. As our school is part of Enquire Learning this will affect our admissions policy. The consultation period begins on Monday 10th October.
