FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
Week – 30/9/22
Firstly, I would like to thank those families who supported our Sandwich Angels Event today. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity shown by our community in providing much needed support. We have already sent over 100 bags of provisions, with a further 100 due to be collected on Monday. We have also received £58.44, this will be used to provide families with fresh produce. We are aware of the current financial pressures placed on families. If anyone is in need of support please speak with a member of the pastoral team in confidence.
This week we have welcomed lots of visitors into school. They have been impressed with the children’s attitudes to learning, demonstrating our school motto “Only My Best is Good Enough!” We have seen great learning in all areas of school.
As it is National Inclusion Week, our assemblies have continued to focus on Respect. The children have thought about the things we do to make sure everyone feels included in school. As part of our work, we have also found out about Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year Festival. Our older pupils have spoken about their experiences celebrating with Mr Ish. We continue to be impressed with the respect shown by our children when talking about those with different thoughts and beliefs.
Many thanks to those families that attended our Wet Welly Walk, the children loved exploring our grounds and it was a great chance to meet other families and find out more about our school. Our next community event is our Spooky Disco which takes place on Wednesday 19th October. Our Flowery Friends team are always looking for volunteers to help run our events. Please speak to a member of the pastoral team on drop off if you can help.
The Vodafone digital parenting magazine is a useful resource for parents to understand their children’ s use of social media and what they can do as parents to help keep them safe on line. There is also a downloadable version available on the link below:
