FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
Week – 14.10.22
We are extremely proud of our children’s achievements in the wider curriculum. As our children come to the end of their current topics, we have seen them applying their science skills to their creations. Y6 used their knowledge of circuits to create Halloween cards with special effects, whilst Y3 applied their learning to their models of the Iron Man. Within other year groups, our children have continued to engage in investigative science and embraced the challenges of our computing curriculum. Following the half term break, we will be reintroducing celebration assemblies, with our Froggy Mascot. Each half term, we will select a small group of children for our special Froggy STAR awards. Parents of those nominated are invited into school, invitations will be sent out next week. Please note all children will receive our special awards by the end of the school year.
We are pleased to announce Mr Wright has secured funding for a breakfast club. This funding will be used to improve our existing morning provision. We plan on offering a healthy breakfast but require volunteers to help prepare the food. Please let Mr Wright know if you are able to help.
Finally, we would like to remind parents that Parents’ Evening takes place on Wednesday 2nd November. This will be a face to face event to enable you to speak with your child’s teacher and review your child’s progress.

URGENT HELP NEEDED
As you are aware our Flowery Friends team work extremely hard to create affordable events for our community. Unfortunately, we have limited capacity due to the number of people available to support our events. We are holding a coffee morning at 9am on Wednesday 19th October 2022 to enable parents to meet the team and find out more about how they can help. We are looking forward to our Halloween Disco and Afternoon Tea with Santa but are in urgent need of support.
