It's off... no, it's on again!!
On Tuesday, in line with the new regulations, Active Tameside began to close down all of their swimming pools and cancelled school lessons. Yesterday, in the House of Commons, the vote to exempt school lessons was passed and so Active Tameside have begun to reopen their pools exclusively for schools. Hyde baths will not be ready for tomorrow, so we will have to miss a week, but we will go swimming again on Friday 13th.
