Well done to all!
Firstly, I would like to thank our Flowery Friends Team for our Winter Wonderland Event. Our team of volunteers have worked tirelessly, sourcing materials, planning craft events, selling tickets, advertising and much more. I am sure you will all agree that the event was a huge success. I know how much the children, volunteers and staff loved the snow globe!
Unfortunately, many of our existing team are Y6 parents who will be leaving us at the end of the school year. We are extremely grateful for their support over the last few years which has enabled our children and families to enjoy many wonderful experiences and provided much needed support for school too. Whilst we have a few new volunteers we urgently need further support to plan future events. Our next meeting takes place on the 15th January at 3 30pm, refreshments and childcare will be available. Please come along and find out more.
As we approach the Christmas break, we are seeing an increase in illness within our school community, we are extremely proud of the way the children and staff have worked together to minimise disruption to learning. Their continued enthusiasm for their learning and resilience within lessons is testimony to our amazing Flowery community.
Over the next few weeks all children will be participating in a range of festive events. Please can we remind families that children are welcome to wear party clothes on their Christmas dinner day, party day and last day of term. We would also like to invite parents to our festive celebrations. Please check the app and website for regular reminders.
Finally, I would like to thank all those parents that signed up to the Asda Cash pot for Schools. Together you have raised an amazing £1888. This will make a huge difference within school.

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE
Many thanks for all your generous donations. Raffle tickets will remain on sale before and after school until the end of next week. There will also be a chance to purchase them at the festive events taking place next week.
