FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
Week – 13/9/24
Another great week in school!
Firstly, thank you for your support in helping your children settle into school. We are extremely grateful for your support in ensuring your children arrive on time and are ready to learn. Our school motto “Only My Best is Good enough!” is evident throughout school. Each week we celebrate our achievements and the key learning behaviours demonstrated within school. Check out our photos on our Twitter feed and social media to see this week’s learning. Children are welcome to bring in things from within the community to share in assembly.
This week, we have also launched our breakfast club within school. It is great to see how many children are accessing this provision. Please can we remind families to use the hall doors to access this provision from 8 30. Our after school clubs start on Monday, limited places are still available in the app.
We have been asked to remind parents that we are not able to use the Flowery Centre’s car park. Unfortunately, this area is very congested which prevents emergency access to both buildings. Please remember that school has a designated drop off area in a morning to help ease the problems with traffic. There are lots of friendly faces around to welcome your child and escort them to class but we do ask that cars are not left unattended.
Last week, we welcomed back our farm animals. We would encourage all families to visit the farm before or after school. Special mention to Mr Fell who helped transport the animals back to Flowery! Our Saturday farm club starts back tomorrow (Saturday). Any pupils in Y3-6 are welcome to attend 9 30 – 10 30.
Finally, please can we remind everyone to download the My Child at School App. You will also need to ensure push notifications are on. This will enable you to select your child’s lunch, check attendance and book on after school clubs. Important updates are also sent through the app. Please see the office if you need support in accessing the app.
Wishing you an enjoyable and relaxing weekend
Mrs Claire Silk

Well done to all our children who completed the reading challenge over the holidays. We understand the challenge has been extended to Christmas to ensure as many children as possible can achieve success. As part of this challenge, children are encouraged to visit the library and read 6 books. Children get a range of rewards to motivate them throughout their challenges.
