We are really looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday. We hope you have all had a lovely beak with your family and friends and looking forward to 2024.
A special mention to the members of staff, pupils and their families who have looked after the farm over the holidays. We have been touched by the generous donations we have received and the animals have definitely enjoyed their special treats!
As we begin the school term, we would like to encourage all families to ensure they have access to our school app. This contains important information regarding important dates and reminders. Our spring menu has now been launched in the MCAS app. Please ensure your accounts are up to date and complete your orders for the spring term. If you feel you may be entitled to FSM please check out the link below: https://www.tameside.gov.uk/schoolmeals
Following our Pupil Progress meetings we will be relaunching our morning provision from Monday 15th January. All places will need to be booked through the app. Children attending morning clubs can access a free breakfast, provided by Greggs. We are extremely grateful to our parent volunteers who support our breakfast club, if you are able to support this important part of school life please speak to Mr wright.
We are currently putting together our after-school club offer, booking will open on Monday the 8th January at 3 15pm, with clubs commencing from Monday 15th January.
Finally, we share the devastating news that one of our little people has passed away during the holidays. Lila in 1SV, took ill during the holidays and unfortunately passed away. Those that have taught her, describe her as a chatty, vibrant little girl, a joy to teach! She definitely made our school a brighter place and will be missed by us all. We send our love and support to Lila's family and friends at this time and will be marking the contribution she made to Flowery over the coming days.
Please reach out if you are in need of support.
