FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
Week – 08.12.23
We've had a lovely time celebrating with our friends during our Christmas Dinner Days. The photos of this event reflect the fun that was had by all! Special mention to our kitchen staff who have cooked and served over 400 dinners!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those that volunteered at our Christmas Craft event with Santa. The event was a huge success and testament to the hard work and dedication of the Flowery Friends team.
We are looking forward to welcoming our EYFS and Y2 families next week. Our EYFS children will be hosting parents for a festive sing along whilst our Y2 children will be performing their version of the nativity story next week. We are incredibly proud of them all!
Within our assemblies, we have been focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. Our children have been challenged to think how they can help those within our community over the Christmas break. We have been overwhelmed by the children’s responses, with many offering their time to help others.
Finally, all families in receipt of benefit related free school meals should receive a voucher for the Christmas break by Wednesday. Please contact the office if you have any issues. If you are currently in receipt of universal credit and have not received vouchers, please speak with a member of the office team to check eligibility.
Please check out the calendar and app for regular reminders.
Wishing you all an enjoyable weekend.
Mrs Claire Silk

IMPORTANT – Online Safety
Whatever the age of your child they will receive good online safety education in school, from early years through to college. But as parents and carers we want so support you in providing information about the risks and issues our children may face online.
We have obtained resources from Alan Mackenzie who specialises in the ever-changing and evolving area of online safety.
