FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
Week – 01.12.23
We are extremely proud of all our children, their enthusiasm for learning and resilience within lessons is testimony to our amazing Flowery community. All year groups are now coming to an end of their history work, the teachers have made a compilation video which we intend to share with you following the Christmas break. These will also be shared as part of our celebration assemblies which take place after Christmas.
We have been delighted to show our prospective pupils around our school. Once again the children have demonstrated what makes Flowery special, with their excellent learning attitudes and quality work displayed around school. If you are aware of anyone who is looking for a school place for September, please ask them to call the office to arrange an appointment to visit.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing team of volunteers who continue to support activities both within school and the community. Our breakfast club are currently serving over 80 children, whilst our Flowery Friends team are busy preparing for our Christmas Craft event. Special mention to all those that contributed to our Christmas raffle, the money raised will be used to fund further family activities over the coming year. We couldn’t offer these activities without their phenomenal support.
As you are aware, we have lots of exciting events taking place in school over the next few weeks. Please check out the calendar and app for regular reminders.
Wishing you all an enjoyable weekend.
Mrs Claire Silk

IMPORTANT – Online Safety
Whatever the age of your child they will receive good online safety education in school, from early years through to college. But as parents and carers we want so support you in providing information about the risks and issues our children may face online.
We have obtained resources from Alan Mackenzie who specialises in the ever-changing and evolving area of online safety.
