FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
Spring Term Week – 17.04.23
We are really looking forward to seeing you all on Monday and hope that you have all enjoyed a lovely break.
As we prepare for the new term, can we remind families to update their contact details through the MCAS app.. There are still a small number of families who are not yet signed up to the app, please see the school office if you require support with this.
Likewise, please can we remind all families to select their school meals in the My Child at School App. This ensures children are able to get their selected choices and reduces food wastage. We are currently preparing for our special themed Coronation Lunch.
Due to the popularity of our morning clubs, we will be introducing a booking system from Monday 24th April. We are currently putting together our offer for the summer term. Places for both our morning and after school clubs will be released at 3pm on Thursday. Places will need to be booked through the MCAS app.
As we come to the end of Ramadan, we know that many of our families are looking forward to celebrating Eid Ul Fitr. Our Flowery Friends team have organised our first family celebration to mark this event. https://floweryfieldschool.org.uk/events/2023-04-26-eid-celebration-lantern-making-family-event
As you may be aware, over the Easter break, the NEU have announced their intention to ask members to take further industrial action on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May. We await further instruction regarding this and will update as soon as possible
Finally, our next diversity group coffee morning takes place on Friday 28th April at 9am. As part of this meeting we will be reviewing and updating our SRE policy. . All are welcome to review this important part of the curriculum.
Wishing you all a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – HEALTH AND SAFETY
Our school site is closed to traffic at the end of the school day to ensure all pupils can leave safely. Any parent arriving late will need to park outside of the school grounds.
Are you a disabled driver? Do you pick up a disabled student? Do you have a blue badge?
Please register your details at the school office to ensure you can continue to access the school site.
Due to the limited number of disabled bays, 2 are reserved for children who are non-mobile. It is essential that we ensure these children have access to these spaces due to the dropped curb and the additional equipment they require, Please can we ask parents to be mindful of this when parking on the school site.
