I hope you have all had a lovely half term break. We have lots of exciting news to share ahead of school reopening on Monday.
Exciting news – Clubs reopen
Following a meeting with Public Health, we are pleased to confirm that our clubs will recommence on Monday. All previous bookings will remain in place.
Our morning clubs will also reopen. As this a mixed age provision, please only use this provision if you have no alternative support in place.
DISCO
Our Flowery Friends Disco takes place on Thursday 4th. We are extremely excited to have our first face to face event and look forward to meeting many of our new families. Tickets will be on sale on Monday 1st both before and after school. Many thanks to the amazing Flowery Friends team who have organised this event.
PE
As the weather is getting colder, we will be moving PE indoors. Please can we ask that all children come to school in their PE kits. This consists of a blue PE t shirt, trainers, shorts, legging or tracksuit bottoms. Children are able to wear their school jumper over their PE kit.
Uniform
Many thanks for your continued support in ensuring all children have the correct uniform. Please can we ask all families to make sure everything is named ahead of our return, as lost property is now in individual classrooms.
New Build
Our new build is complete – this will complement our existing provision, providing an alternative space for those children who require additional support. Ms Vo-Mullins and Mrs Madigan have been busy putting plans together to look at how this can benefit our whole school community.
Over the next few weeks we will continue to develop the outside of the building to ensure it complements our existing grounds.
School Meals
Our normal menu resumes – this can be found on the school website. Please discuss the options with your child over the weekend and select their meal choices. If anyone has any problems please speak to Miss Miah in the school office.
Parents’ Evening
This will take place on Tuesday 2nd November and Wednesday 3rd November. We are offering telephone appointments to all families. These can be booked through the My Child at School App (MCAS) If you still need support in accessing the app please speak to Ms Miah in the school office.
COVID Update
As you are aware, the situation around COVID is continuously changing. We are pleased to report that our measures have been successful in reducing the spread across school. We are extremely grateful for your support over the last couple of weeks and are hopeful that we can continue to stop the spread with regular LFD testing and PCR testing as and when required.
