What a creative week!
It has been lovely to see the children embracing the challenges of arts week.
We can’t wait to share our creations wit you following the half term break.
Our week finished with a celebration of everything that makes Flowery special. It has been great to see the children enjoying time with their friends, the school has been filled with laughter. Many thanks to the families for your support in ensuring this event was a success.
COVID Update - Good news at last!
As you are aware, the situation around COVID is continuously changing. We are pleased to report that our measures have been successful in reducing the spread across school. Following discussions with the team at Tameside we are pleased to announce that our after school clubs will recommence after the holidays. Likewise, we will be able to offer our full school lunch menu.
We are extremely grateful for your support over the last couple of weeks and are hopeful that we can continue to stop the spread with regular LFD testing and PCR testing as and when required.
We will continue to update you via the school website, MCAS and the Facebook page.
My Child at School (MCAS)
Many thanks to all those families that have signed up to the app, we have received great feedback and are keen to get others signed up as soon as possible. You are able to use this to check important messages, book a school dinner, check attendance and even book a place at one of our after school clubs. If you still need support in accessing the app please speak to Miss Miah in the school office.
School Meals
After half term we would like the children to book their meals through our MCAS app. The choices will be available from Monday. Please discuss the options with your child during the half term break and select their meal choices. If anyone has any problems please speak to Miss Miah in the school office.
Parents’ Evening
This will take place on Tuesday 2nd or Wednesday 3rd November (30/11 for 4SM). We are offering telephone appointments to all families. These can be booked through the My Child at School App (MCAS). Less than 24 hours after the appointments went live, over 300 slots had been booked – thanks for your fantastic support!
