Reflections on week 6
It is great to welcome 3GY back into school after the “bubble” closure. Thanks to all involved in the “home schooling” efforts – your support is greatly appreciated. This class returned just in time to be included in the nasal flu scheme and we have now administered these to all children with completed consent forms. (You can still obtain this added protection for your child and family by contacting your GP or pharmacy.)
I am delighted with the efforts of our year 6, farm team who calmly and expertly are getting on with running the school farm. We can have confidence that it will all be in fine shape ready for other children to enjoy once the COVID restrictions allow.
On the last day of this half term (Friday 23rd Oct), I invite the children to “dress down” and support our local foodbank. They can wear their own clothes and in return, bring in a donation of tinned food, dried pasta, cereal or similar. Any toiletries are also very welcome.
Have a great weekend
