Reflections on week 4
Thanks to everyone for helping with our School A, B and C start and finish times. These are an important element of our risk reduction strategy and help to reduce crowding on the school site. Our reopening plan asks families to restrict themselves to one parent collecting and dropping off. At present, local guidance does not require parents to wear masks when coming on site, however, this may change if the infection rate continues to increase.
We have been lucky and not yet had to close one of our “bubbles” whilst many neighbouring schools have not fared so well. Please continue to follow the guidance, as it is our best chance of staying open. Our pastoral team are staffing the phones before school each day if you have any concerns or are seeking clarification around the best actions to take. Our attendance rate is over 97%- a wonderful achievement by all.
A number of children enjoyed our before and after school clubs which relaunched last week. The 8am clubs are open to years 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the days that they have P.E. and the year 5 and 6 clubs after school, again on P.E. days. Please continue to send children to school wearing their sports kits on P.E. days.
It is great to see some new faces joining “Flowery Friends”, our PTA group. If you would let to come ‘on board’, please see the FaceBook page or talk to Mrs Silk, Mrs Jeffers or Mrs Smith.
Have a great weekend
