Reflections on week 3
The lovely weather has supported our efforts to ensure all children are dropped off and collected safely. Let’s hope next week is equally nice!
This week has also seen the launch of our before and after school clubs. The 8am clubs are open to years 1,2,3 and 4 on the days that they have P.E. and the year 5 and 6 clubs are held after school, again on P.E. days. Please continue to send children to school wearing their sports kits on P.E. days.
The problems with the local ‘test and trace’ system mirror the chaos across the whole country. A ‘pop-up’ testing centre is in Hyde this weekend, however many parents report frustrations with actually being able to book a test. Against this background, I am particularly pleased that families continue to support our efforts to keep everyone safe. To reinforce the seriousness of these precautions, two local Hyde schools have had to close year group bubbles this week.
Please remember that the school photographer is here on Tuesday (and Wednesday if we don’t get through everyone) Please wear uniform on these days even if you have P.E. – we will adapt our lessons to cope.
Have a great weekend
