FROGGY STARS NEWSLETTER – 3.03.23
Thank you for all your support with our world book day events, we were once again overwhelmed by the enthusiasm shown by our community. With the money raised from the event and the after-school book sale, we have over £600 to spend on new books. Our Y1 and 2 children have been busy writing wish lists! We can’t wait to get our new books delivered!
Throughout the day, children participated in a range of activities and loved sharing their books with their friends. Within KS2, the children joined the BBC’s big read, taking part in an online lesson to explore different genres.
Our younger pupils had the opportunity to explore the story of Tango, from our visiting theatre company. The children took on the role of zookeepers, helping Tango as he set off on his adventure to meet lots of different animal families who all share the same love.

Morning Clubs
Unfortunately, we are unable to continue to offer Dodgeball due to the large number of children attending. We recognise that many parents rely on this support so will be offering alternatives such as yoga and mindfulness. Other morning clubs will remain in place.

Flowery Friends will be holding their annual general meeting on Thursday 30th March at 6pm. This will be a chance to find out more about the group and how you can help build n our success. During the meeting we will be selecting the chair, secretary and treasurer.
