FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
9.12.22
We've had a lovely time celebrating with our friends during our Christmas Dinner Days. The photos of this event reflect the fun that was had by all! Special mention to our kitchen staff who have cooked and served over 400 dinners!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those that volunteered at our afternoon tea with Santa event. The event was a huge success and testament to the hard work and dedication of the Flowery Friends team.
We finished off the week welcoming our EYFS families to our festive sing along. It was great to see how much the children have progressed over the term. Our Y2 children will be performing their version of the nativity story next week, complete with festive sing along. We are incredibly proud of them all!
Within our assemblies, we have been focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. Our children have been challenged to think how they can help those within our community over the Christmas break. We have been overwhelmed by the children’s responses, with many offering their time to help others. Likewise, we have received an amazing response to our advent appeal for food and toys - with your generous donations we will be able to support many families within our community.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer our morning sports club next week as we will need to set up the hall for our Christmas performances. Children who need to access morning clubs will be offered this provision within their classroom. Norma morning clubs will resume after Christmas.
Finally, I would like to thank you all for your support today. We can confirm that we now have heating and hot water !
Wishing you all a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
