What a lovely end to the half term! Mr G, Mr Smith and myself have had a lovely afternoon celebrating the amazing artwork around school. We have created a video montage which you will be able to view during our Parents’ Evening. Check out some of our amazing creations on our Facebook page or Twitter account.
The children have loved taking part in our arts week and are keen to build on their knowledge. There are lots of creative activities going on within our local libraries and art galleries. All parents should have received an announcement regarding parents’ evening. This takes place on Wednesday 2nd November. This will be a face to face event to enable you to speak with your child’s teacher and review your child’s progress. Appointments are booked through the MCAS app.
Many thanks to our Flowery Friends team and all those that attended our Halloween Disco. It was great to see so many people dressing up and having fun. I am extremely grateful to the team who work behind the scenes to plan these events but we are in urgent need of further help due to our growing school roll. Our next Flowery Friends meeting is on Monday 14th November at 6pm. We would also like to remind families that our diversity group is meeting on the 7th November at 9am. We would love to have more families at these events.
Finally, I would like to wish all those families celebrating Diwali, a special time with their family and friends. We look forward to hearing about your celebrations on your return to school.
