The last few days have been full of mixed emotions as we remember the times we have shared together at Flowery Field and look forward to supporting the children as they continue their educational journey.
We are incredibly proud of all that your children have achieved both within and beyond the classroom. We know that all of our children are stars and embody all that is special about Flowery Field. They have demonstrated our core values of striving, working together as a team, resilience and being ambitious in all they do. It has been an incredible journey, filled with fun and laughter and I know that we will miss each and every one of them.
There are so many things we have achieved together, sleeping away from home for the first time, performing on stage in front of hundreds of people, visiting the Halle orchestra or even soaring through the sky at Robinwood. Whatever the challenge they have been up for it! Demonstrating their can do attitude and resilience in the face of defeat!
Thank you to the children who have embraced the opportunities we have at Flowery Field, attending our before and after school clubs, representing the school at sporting competitions and of course the cheerleading competition. I need to give a special mention to my Y6 Farm Team, who have worked tirelessly with Mrs Mercer and Miss Marsden to ensure the animals are well cared for. They have been a real asset to our school, showing visitors around and helping our younger pupils access the farm.
As we come to the end of our journey, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of you at home who have supported your children during their time with us, especially over the last couple of years as you too became the teachers! Flowery is a richer place because of your support and I am extremely grateful.
We know that the children will continue to build on their success and look forward to hearing all about it when they visit us.
