FROGGY STARS - STRIVE -TEAM - AMBITION - RESILIENCE = SUCCESS
Summer Term Week 7 -24.6.22
It has been lovely to welcome you back into school, we have had a fantastic turn out and really appreciate your support. Mr Wright’s Commonwealth themed event was clearly a huge hit, with many families trying out the activities themselves. We clearly have lots of Maid Marians and Robin Hoods amongst our parents. Well done to all those taking part, especially those that participated in the parent race.
We are extremely proud of the way your children have embraced our sporting challenges. The children have clearly proved themselves to be Froggy Stars. Striving to master new skills; working together as part of a team and always being the best that they can be!
As the sunny weather looks set to continue please can we remind all families to send their child in with a sun hat, water bottle and sun screen. We will encourage children to apply the latter before going outside,
We are aware that a small minority of parents are still having difficulty with the app. Unfortunately, we will be unable to send out text messages from next week. Ms Miah, has put together a useful guide to help anyone experiencing difficulties. Please call into the school office.
Finally, I would like to thank out parent volunteers who are working behind the scenes to plan our upcoming summer fayre. We are in urgent need of volunteers to help run the event safely. If you can help please leave your name and contact details at the office. Likewise, we are looking for volunteers, who are able to donate an hour a week, to help make toast for children. We are hoping to reintroduce toast from September but this will be dependent upon parental support. If you can help please get in touch.
Please check the school calendar and the news section of our website for any reminders.
Wishing you all a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
