COVID UPDATE ACTION REQUIRED
Thank you for your understanding, following a sudden spike in cases we have been asked by Public Health Tameside to take further action to stop the spread. We have been asked to prioritise maintaining our core curriculum offer. We appreciate the children have already had a lot of disruption and hope with these short term changes we will stop the spread and keep our community safe.
To help stop the spread we are taking the following actions until half term:
- Year group bubbles will be reinstated.
- All visits/meetings will be held virtually.
- Morning and after school clubs stopped until half term.
- Family Disco postponed until 4th November.
- Close contacts of positive cases will be asked to book a PCR test. (Children do not need to isolate whilst waiting for results unless there are signs of illness).
- Siblings of positive cases to get a PCR test before returning to school.
- Lunches to be eaten in the classroom. Alternative menu in place to enable meals to be delivered to the classroom. Menu will be reinstated from Monday 1st November.
- Please can we ask all parents to stand well back from classroom doors and wear a face covering if possible.
Mr Smith and I will be outside the front of school before and after school if anyone has any questions.
