UPDATE COVID and ATTENDANCE
We currently have confirmed cases in Nursery, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4 and Y5. We would ask that all families remain vigilant and take a PCR test if their child displays any signs of illness. The swift action of our Y4 families has helped to identify several asymptomatic cases within our community.
Please note that your child’s attendance will not be affected whilst waiting for PCR results. This will show in the app as attendance not required. Once a child has had their results the attendance will be recorded as ill. The DFE has a special code for illness associated with COVID but the app will still show them as ill.
In a small number of cases, where parents are unable to bring their child to school due to their own isolation, children will be recorded as C (Other authorised circumstances).
