THE GREAT FLOWERY FIELD “Creative Challenge”
Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s been an incredibly challenging year but hopefully we are about to return to some normality. The PTA have been working behind the scenes organising outdoor activities and looking forwards to upcoming indoor events starting soon.
Over the 2 week Whit holidays we are organising a whole school event inspired by Captain Tom. We are asking the children to think of creative ways to spend the holiday and to share these with our school community.
Maybe your child could take up a new sport or activity, read a book and recommend it, see how many star jumps they can do in 1 minute, organise a teddy bears’ picnic, paint a picture, perform a song or dance routine, take part in a gaming challenge, grow something, bake or cook (with an adult), go on a mini-beast hunt, visit a local beauty spot and take a photograph – the list is only limited by your imagination and you are welcome to ‘magpie’ ideas from everyone else!
Once your child has achieved their goal, please post all of your pictures on the Flowery Field Facebook page to inspire others to get busy and creative.
