We are excited to announce that Starchaser Industries will be vsiting school on Thursday. All year groups will have the chance to visit the Skybolt 2 rocket and find out more about it.
This visit will support our current science learning. The children will have the opportunity to find out more about the solar system through a range of activities. The children will have the opportunity to find out more about living in space, examining real artefacts, such as meteorites, tektites and much more.
During the visit the children will also have the opportunity to explore Starchaser’s Skybolt rocket before taking part in their own rocket factory workshop. Each child will make, launch and take home their own compressed air powered rocket. We are asking for a donation of £2 to contribute towards the cost of the workshop and materials.
At the end of the day, the children will experience a rocket launch too!
