Following interviews with Mrs Jackson, the children have recieved their appointment letters. Pony News

The ponies have arrived!

Their names are Katie and Princess. (Princess is Katie's mum!)

Ben is working hard to train the ponies to walk in their head collars. This allows us to walk and exercise them every day. He is also sharing his skills with the farm team.

Small animal news

The two rabbits that came from Mrs Yan's house are doing well. If anyone has any usable, unwanted rabbit hutches please contact Mr Fell (we can collect!). A fifth rabbit has arrived now and we don't need anymore thanks!. We have divided the enclosure into smaller units so that they can all be out in the fresh air for longer.

Poultry news

The outbreak of 'bird-flu' nationally put paid to our plans to adopt "rescue hens".

Instead, our Reception children have been looking after eggs in an incubator and they have begun hatching today (8th March). When they are big enough they will move out onto the farm.

Other news

Year 5 are now working as part of our farm team - welcome to our new members.

The new 'mud-free' path is now open. Please keep off the grassey areas that are both muddy and slippery at this time of year.

Pig news

The three little pigs have jumped out of the pages of the fairy story and landed at our farm. We will be having a "chose the names competition". - the winning names are Snuffle, Truffle and Nuzzle.
